Paw balm

Paw balm keeps your dog's paws soft!
This paw balm is made with natural ingredients and can soothe and nourish your dog's paw pads. All ingredients are approved for human use, so you can be sure you're choosing a high-quality product for your dog!

Paw balm can be used year-round. It helps protect against both the heat of asphalt in the summer and the effects of road salt in the winter.
Paw balm helps speed up the healing process of cracks, but also helps prevent them from occurring.

Using paw balm:
Take a small amount of paw balm from the jar and warm it in your hands. Apply the paw balm to your dog's paw pads and between their toes. Wipe off any excess paw balm and let it soak in.

It's better to apply a thin layer of paw balm frequently than a thick one. This allows the skin to breathe properly and the paw balm to be absorbed more quickly.

Using paw balm for the first time:
Is your dog new to paw balm? It might be a good idea to apply it before a walk. This will provide your dog with a distraction and teach them not to lick the balm right away.
You can also apply paw balm and then briefly distract your dog with a brain game. Once your dog understands that paw balm doesn't need to be licked off, you can apply it at other times as well. Most dogs really enjoy paw balm and find applying it to be a massage for their paws!

Please note: the Bobba Bars Paw Balm may be a bit harder than you might expect. This can make it a bit harder to get the paw balm out of the jar, especially the first time you use it.
You can also scoop the first bit of paw balm out of the jar with your fingernail, or use the back of a teaspoon.
The advantage of a firmer paw balm is that you use less product each time. Paw balm is more effective when applied in a thin layer. You can use the paw balm regularly. In very hot summers or when the ground is gritted in the winter, you can also use the paw balm daily. Pay particular attention to your dog's needs.

Because the paw balm is made with only natural ingredients, it's okay if your dog licks off a little. However, the paw balm is designed for external use only.
