I have visited Stichting Le Woef twice now, and both times it made a huge impression on me. It is special to see with my own eyes how much love, care and dedication goes into this foundation.
Stichting Le Woef is committed to dogs that, among other places, come from Romania. Dogs that often do not have a safe home there and are sometimes left to their own devices. The foundation gives these dogs a second chance by taking them in, caring for them, and ultimately finding them a loving adoptive family in the Netherlands.
What immediately struck me when I first visited, and also during my second visit, is the warm and pleasant atmosphere. The location is spacious, neat, and well-organized. You can tell that work here is truly done with care and that the well-being of the dogs is always paramount.
But what perhaps touched me most was the team of volunteers. They work incredibly hard alongside their own jobs and lives, purely out of love for the dogs. The dedication and enthusiasm of this team truly deserve enormous respect.
From Santos, and myself as a starting entrepreneur, I find it especially wonderful that we can contribute in our own way.
